About Me

Hi! Here I talk about my interests and you can download my resume below. I am starting the third year of my PhD.
The plan for my PhD. is to tackle the difficult problem of modeling strongly correlated materials in various platforms while building a set of skills in simulation, constructing model Hamiltonians, code development, and machine learning.
I believe service is an important aspect of any professional. In the second year of my PhD. I have been the vice president of PAGSO and frequently volunteer at events PAGSO or the Department of Physics and Astronomy @ WVU puts on. In my first year, I was an active member of PAGSO and on a committee that reviewed the pay of graduate students resulting in an increase in pay for many students.
My hobbies include co-running a book club with other graduate students, partaking in the local running club, and playing chess.
I am interested in collaboration and outreach of physics. Contact me at clj00009@mix.wvu.edu and view my resume!
